Dr Nele Lenders is an endocrinologist with a commitment to providing excellent and evidence-based care to patients. She studied medicine at the University of Queensland and undertook her specialist training at the Princess Alexandra Hospital (QLD), Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital (QLD), Greenslopes Hospital (QLD) and St Vincent’s Hospital (NSW). She has a breadth of expertise in all areas of endocrinology.

Nele has a PhD in Pituitary Disease, completed through the Garvan Institute and University of New South Wales. She has a passion for research and its translation to clinical practice. She has numerous publications in the field of endocrinology and regularly presents at national and international conferences. Nele is a Staff Specialist Endocrinologist at St Vincent’s Hospital, Royal Women’s Hospital and is a Senior Lecturer with UNSW School of Medicine.

In her spare time, Nele enjoys cooking, spending time with family, her dog, playing sport and running marathons.
